- About the Company
- A fast-growing global beauty and lifestyle brand is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Traffic Analyst to join its expanding Supply Chain Team.
- In this role, you will serve as the supportive primary contact for all international and domestic shipments, compassionately overseeing logistics operations from global and local vendors to U.S. warehouses, as well as outbound shipments to wholesale customers worldwide. You will collaborate closely with Freight Forwarders, Carriers, and 3PL Partners to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries and proactively flag potential delays before they impact operations.

- ResponsibilitiesInbound International & Domestic Shipments
- Manage all inbound international shipments, tracking container movements (ocean, air, rail, truck) to ensure timely arrival.
- Oversee inbound domestic shipments from local vendors, proactively communicating any shipping delays or issues.
- Provide timely updates to internal teams and stakeholders regarding shipment statuses.
- Outbound Wholesale Shipments
- Coordinate outbound shipments to wholesale customers worldwide.
- Ensure outbound orders meet OTIF commitments and service-level expectations.
- Carrier & 3PL Coordination
- Coordinate daily with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to support cost-effective and compliant shipping operations.
- Troubleshoot logistics issues and escalate when necessary to maintain workflow continuity.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track and evaluate OTIF performance for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities to improve logistics accuracy and reliability.
- Record Keeping & Compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation of shipments, customs paperwork, and trade compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to international trade requirements, Incoterms, and U.S. import/export regulations.
- Workflow Optimization
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in optimizing logistics workflows and minimizing operational disruptions.
- Support ongoing process improvements within the transportation and logistics framework.
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance.
- Recommend operational enhancements based on data insights and shipment trends.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in international logistics and shipping.
- Strong background in inbound shipments from Asia and outbound shipments to regions such as the EU, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
- Required Skills
Strong understanding of global shipping and trade, including
- Incoterms
- Shipping terminology
- International trade documentation
- Familiarity with U.S. import regulations and export processes.
- Experience with tax drawback operations or trade incentive programs (e.g., IMMEX).
- Proven ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL vendors.
- Knowledge of multi-modal shipping (ocean, air, truck, rail).
- Proficiency with transportation management systems and shipment tracking tools.
