- Job Description
- This Sourcing Analyst position will support the Global Product, HR, Travel and Professional Services Category Sourcing teams by executing procurement, analytical and sourcing administrative activities. Focuses on operational excellence in procurement, ensuring efficient and effective procurement of goods and services. Requires strong analytical skills, a background in supplier management, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across various departments and regions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, support formal sourcing events and negotiations, and monitor supplier performance.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient procurement and sourcing, support continuous improvement initiatives, assist in managing the Ariba Intake process and maintain internal sourcing tools and / or Teams sites
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate regular reports and analysis on sourcing activities, performance metrics, and cost savings.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, act as a liaison between the sourcing team and other departments, and assist the Category Leads in coordinating with stakeholders.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor supplier performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Visa’s policies and procedures, identify and mitigate sourcing risks. Negotiates contracts, governing agreements and administers contracts in Ariba, including routing agreements for approvals and signatures and related stakeholder engagements.
- This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
- Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multiple time zones global environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in either Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within the Marketing or Professional Services Categories
- Proficiency in procurement software (Ariba, Coupa, etc) and Analytical tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
