  • About the role
  • This role is responsible for managing AspenView’s Power BI environment and Snowflake data platform, developing dashboards and semantic models, ensuring data quality, and supporting employees with day-to-day technical needs. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable insights while ensuring smooth onboarding, access management, and system operations.
  • This position requires a proactive, service-oriented mindset and the ability to comfortably switch between analytics work and operational support.

What you will do

  • Business Intelligence & Data Platform
  • Manage and maintain the Power BI environment, including apps, datasets, dashboards, and security.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, semantic models, and data analysis tools.
  • Monitor ETL processes and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve errors.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability across reports and models.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security for Power BI assets.
  • Work with Snowflake and SQL to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Leverage and continuously improve solutions within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Create documentation and deliver training sessions on new or updated reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Systems & IT Operations
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to in-office and remote employees for routine hardware and software issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for escalated technical support when needed.

Manage IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including

  • Laptop configuration
  • Software access and licenses
  • Equipment ordering and setup
  • Track, maintain, and ship computers and technical equipment to employees.
  • Assist staff with technical issues and system access troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of company equipment.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.

Strong Power BI development skills, including

  • Semantic models
  • Visualizations
  • Automation
  • Experience monitoring ETL processes and resolving data pipeline issues.
  • Solid experience with Snowflake and SQL.
  • Proven ability to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Comfortable providing technical assistance and internal support.
  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to “pitch in” as needed.

Nice if you have

  • Experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Prior experience in a fast-growing consulting or technology environment.
  • Experience creating training materials and documentation for non-technical users.
