  • The Global Strategy & Operations (GS&O) team translates Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy into actionable local execution plans, driving operational excellence and enabling business impact at scale. This role acts as the primary product and technical advocate within the Product Manager-owned portfolio, leveraging deep business acumen, technical expertise, and market insights to accelerate growth and deliver results. You will lead strategic go-to-market (GTM) planning, foster alignment across teams, and enable field leadership to execute with clarity and confidence. Success requires thought leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to simplify complexity in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
  • Responsibilities
  • Product Advocacy: Serve as the primary product and technical evangelist, positioning value propositions, tailoring messaging, and guiding sales and partner engagements.
  • Business Strategy Execution: Develop and implement strategic business plans, track performance against KPIs, and drive sustainable growth beyond fiscal boundaries.
  • GTM Orchestration: Lead definition and delivery of cross-functional GTM strategies, integrating marketing, sales, partner, and customer success for a One Microsoft approach.
  • Field Enablement: Ensure regional leadership and field communities have the tools, resources, and guidance to run the business locally and align with corporate priorities.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify and pursue long-range, white-space opportunities, investment plans, and geographical expansion to maximize market performance.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Drive alignment across corporate and field leadership, orchestrating actions and removing roadblocks to ensure flawless execution.
  • Insights & Innovation: Leverage competitive knowledge and feedback from customers, partners, and sales to inform strategy, influence investments, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Business Management: Develops and executes business strategy and tracks the efficacy of plans across the business to drive sustainable growth within and beyond the boundaries of the fiscal year. Accepts accountability for revenue, scorecard metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business. Identifies strategic priorities and drives alignment across the business to enable the team/stakeholders to deliver against priorities. Partners with relevant senior leadership team(s) to ensure alignment with area/subsidiary goals and drive business priorities. Actively leads and engages with all stakeholders across the area/subsidiary for One Microsoft orchestration. Drives results and impact without significant support.
  • Qualifications
  • Required/minimum qualifications
  • 8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
  • 8+ years experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.
  • Additional or preferred qualifications
  • 12+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
