Reporting to the Internal HR Consulting Leader and embedded within the Portfolio and Governance team, you will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and successfully managing M&A initiatives that shape Marsh future.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage People Function workstreams within M&A and other strategic initiatives, creating and maintaining detailed project plans, tracking milestones, and proactively mitigating risks and issues.
  • Oversee the seamless integration and onboarding of colleagues from acquired companies, ensuring smooth transitions and fostering cultural alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the integration journey.
  • Drive HR projects focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, and technology enhancements that elevate People Experience.
  • Analyze existing HR processes and design future-state workflows, templates, and documentation that support scalable and efficient operations.
  • Support system enhancements through testing, validation, and delivering training on new or improved processes.
  • Serve as a trusted coach and mentor to subject-matter experts, guiding the creation of SOPs, reference materials, and training content.
  • Communicate project progress, updates, and key milestones clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Measure and evaluate the success of integration efforts, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HR Services, CIS, COEs, People Partners, and HR Managers to cultivate a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What you need to have

  • Proven expertise in project management with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR process design, improvement, implementation, and change management.
  • Experience navigating complex international environments with cultural sensitivity and agility.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a strong plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with virtual teams under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with Workday and Smartsheet is highly desirable.
