I am a US citizen currently in Bogotá, Colombia. I need to assign a Power of Attorney (POA) to an agent in Ecuador, a procedure that must be done at the Consulate of Ecuador here in Bogota. The agent will make the appointment and send me the contract and instructions. I simply need a Spanish speaker (the person does not have to be fluent in English) to accompany me, so I am looking for a trustworthy, but economical interpreter. The process at the Consulate should not take much time. Including round-trip time (I will pay for transportation), I estimate two hours. The appointment should be sometime next week. Simplemente necesito un hablante de español (la persona no tiene que ser fluente en inglés) para acompañarme, así que estoy buscando un intérprete confiable pero económico.
